Maker Studio: Gears Set Review

Product Description (from their site):

Designed by Engineers for Budding Engineers
Maker Studio™ inspires imagination and a love for engineering. In this set featuring gears, you’ll be able to build a racecar, a cable car, a 3-wheeler and a motorcycle. For each build you’re given Engineering Challenges – experiment with friction, torque and propulsion as you engineer your solutions. Once you’ve mastered all four builds, get creative and design something that’s all your own!

MY REVIEW:

I received the ThinkFun Maker Studio - Gears Building Kit from Thinkfun in exchange for an honest review. This is a great product for ages 7 to adult! My family and I started building the first day I received it and we had the best time! My nephew loves to build so he basically took over the item. You can build a race car, a cable car, a three-wheeler, and a motorcycle. You build them by recycling things like mac and cheese boxes.

Not only do you build a vehicle, but you also are given challenges. These challenges can be experimenting with friction, torque or propulsion. Once you master these, you can get creative and build your own design. My favorite perk of this product is that it is one of those brain training things. You play and have fun and have no clue that it is training your brain at the same time! It's awesome!

This would be a great gift for someone who loves to build and loves to exercise their brain. It helps reduce stress, sharpens your focus, strengthens memory and definitely speeds up thinking. Overall. I am super impressed with how much fun this product is for all ages! I would highly recommend this game to anyone!

The price is $19.99 and is available at Amazon.
