UGLee Ergonomic Pen Review and Giveaway

Product Description:

The UGLee Pen is good for everyone who writes (even just a grocery list), and is especially helpful to people who experience pain and discomfort when writing, for example those with arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc., and for all children who are learning to write and are developing fine motor skills.

It is also helpful for special-needs children who find holding a pen or pencil properly difficult. And for high-school and college students who have to take copious notes, this pen helps keep hands and fingers from cramping.

Features:
  • Weight- Weighs just 11 grams. That is less than 1/2 ounce! Less mass, means less inertia, more comfort.
  • Full-Size Grip- Ultimate comfort! The overall shape as well as the detailed contours is perfectly engineered to follow the anatomy of the hand. You don’t have to grip this material, it grips you.
  • Ink- Mated with the smoothest ink system known, smoother than any roller ball, gel ink, or fountain ink pen.  Standard with a super-smooth, bold, black ink.
  •  Packs- Sold in packs of three, all in the barrel color of your choice.  (red, pink, white, yellow, green, blue, gray)
  • Refillable
  • 3 packs are $19.99
  • Ink refills are available in additional colors. Each pack of 10 ultra-smooth ink cartridges costs $15.00 + $2.95 S & H

MY REVIEW:

The comfort pen has a cushioned gel grip and is very lightweight. Like its name it is kind of ugly, especially mine I received yellow, green and blue colors. I wouldn't have chosen them myself (I would totally pick the pink one). The soft grip has little specks of glitter in it, which I think is pretty awesome.

I find myself griping regular pens very tight in order to hold on to them.  With the UGLee Pen, my hand is much more relaxed, not putting a strain on my wrist and arm. I find the grip area to be soft and squishy, but also textured to actually grip your fingers.

Overall, I feel the UGLee Pen would really benefit someone who experiences pain and discomfort when writing, suffers from hand cramps and fatigue, ailments such as arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome.  It would especially be helpful to students who experience strain when writing for long periods of time. I know I could have used this throughout my elementary school years to help me write better.
